HISTORY

Nascoga (NAtional Supply COmpany of GAinesville) Federal Credit Union was chartered on May 15, 1956. There were ten charter members who each paid five dollars for a share in the organization. In the beginning, the office of the credit union was in a small corner of the plant itself. It was opened only a few hours each week and was manned by volunteers.

Today we are a financially sound, rapidly growing, $91 million credit union. We offer a full spectrum of services. With the approval of a community charter in 1998, anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Cooke or Grayson Counties, or may become a member if you have a family member that is currently a member you can join. We would like to invite you to join today and take advantage of the many benefits your membership brings.

MISSION

Nascoga Federal Credit Union will provide quality financial services to meet all members' needs. The credit union strives to offer low-cost loans and a competitive return on savings while sustaining a sound capital base.

VISION

Exceed the expectations of the members.
